How do I start using News feeds?

You need a News Reader, a software application that automatically checks any feeds you have subscribed to – from as many websites as you care to choose – and informs you of any newly published articles.

Many News Readers are available. Some are integrated into a browser (e.g. Safari or Firefox with its Sage plug-in) while others are stand-alone desktop applications. You can also subscribe to an online service such as Google Reader which will enable you to monitor feeds using any browser.
